1 Corinthians 4:2-5

2 Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful. 3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4 ^aFor I am not aware of anything against myself, ^bbut I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. 5 Therefore ^cdo not pronounce judgment before the time, ^dbefore the Lord comes, ^ewho will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. ^fThen each one will receive his commendation from God.

2 Corinthians 5:10

10 For ^gwe must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, ^hso that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

Hebrews 13:17

17 Obey ⁱyour leaders and submit to them, ^jfor they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to ^kgive an account. ^lLet them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.
